THE PROGRAM
The LJD Mentorship Program is designed for rising junior and senior fashion design students, offering personalized one-on-one mentorship with an award-winning designer. It provides valuable industry insights, portfolio development, and practical career advice for soon-to-be graduates.
The LJD Mentorship Program provides a comprehensive virtual experience to advance your fashion career. Participants receive tailored feedback on resume development, cover letters, and LinkedIn profiles. You'll build a compelling portfolio through project-based assignments and reviews. CAD skills are enhanced through virtual workshops and practical exercises, while internship search support includes application advisement, resume workshops, and interview preparation.
The program also focuses on refining design techniques through workshops and critiques, gaining industry insights, developing a clear career plan with goal-setting strategies, and expanding your professional network and personal brand through virtual networking events and branding workshops.

Jillian Lenae Hackett is an up-and-coming fashion designer known for her innovative approach and award-winning designs. With a keen eye for detail and a deep understanding of fashion trends, she has established herself as an upcoming leading figure in the industry.
Recently graduating from university, Jillian is familiar with the tedious process of portfolio development, learning niche skills, and securing opportunities for growth and gaining industry experience. As the mentor in the LJD Mentorship Program, she brings invaluable insights and a wealth of knowledge to guide design students in refining their portfolios and navigating the fashion world. Her commitment to nurturing new talent makes her an exceptional resource for aspiring designers.
